Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Wavonk Automation, a creator-operated tool for the Wavonk YouTube channel, handles information obtained through Google and YouTube authorization.
Who uses this application
Wavonk Automation is currently used by the Wavonk channel operator and is not offered as a general public account-management product. Questions can be sent to gregorypauldesignsllc@gmail.com.
Information accessed
With the channel owner's authorization, the application requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly. Depending on the authorized API operations, this permits the application to submit video files and metadata, check the identity of the connected YouTube channel, verify video upload and visibility details, and read channel/video information such as titles, publishing status, view counts, likes, comments and subscriber totals. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contact lists, or unrelated Google accounts.
How information is used
- To confirm that operations target the correct Wavonk channel.
- To upload creator-approved original media and verify upload results.
- To monitor technical errors and prevent duplicate uploads.
- To generate private operational reports and measure channel performance to improve future videos.
Authorized data is not sold, used for unrelated advertising targeting, or transferred to data brokers.
Storage, service providers, and security
Google provides YouTube authentication and API access. GitHub provides private code hosting, encrypted automation secrets, GitHub Actions execution and private operational issue records. OAuth refresh/access credentials are intended to be kept in encrypted GitHub Actions secrets and protected local files, rather than in public repositories or reports. Limited channel and video statistics, upload identifiers, content metadata, and error records may appear in private GitHub operational records. Service providers may process this information as necessary to run the application and under their applicable terms and policies.
We restrict authorized use to the Wavonk account and implement safeguards against accidental publication and duplicate video uploads. No system is guaranteed to be entirely secure.
Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials are retained for as long as the operator authorizes the application or until they are revoked or removed. Private operational and analytics records are retained as needed for auditing, error recovery, and workflow improvement and may be deleted by the operator when no longer needed. Temporary rendered video files and diagnostics are generally retained for the configured artifact retention window. Media published to YouTube remains subject to the channel owner's YouTube settings and deletion decisions.
To request access, correction, or deletion of data handled by Wavonk Automation, contact gregorypauldesignsllc@gmail.com. The channel operator can revoke the application’s Google authorization at Google Account Connections and remove locally or privately stored credentials.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Wavonk Automation’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, where applicable.
Changes
We may update this policy as the application evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Any new data access or use must be reflected here before deployment.
